Every Sunday, I spend a little time looking back over the week to see what I've accomplished, think about what I could have done better, and make a plan for the next week. The past several weeks have been a bit (a lot?) challenging, and I find myself latching onto the simple pleasures that I enjoyed over the week, those little things that make it all worthwhile.
I received this in the mail from an amazing family who started their home buying & selling experience before Covid hit us, but, had to make their move during. They had so many challenges ~ the trip to the lawyers office to sign paperwork, the packing, the moving, the renovation plans for their new home ~ all done with two very young children, and no access to a babysitter. Not to mention, the daily anxiety of living life under this Pandemic.
That they took the time to write this beautiful note, and create this fabulous drawing of their new home (note the rainbow!), has touched me right in the feels. I've had this sitting on my desk for almost 2 weeks now, so I can see it every day. I think I need to frame it.
It just makes me feel good.
