Spending time there always brings me back to my childhood, and to lots and lots of memories, and connections.
As I entered my client's home, the first thing I saw was a lawn chair with the Port Glasgow Yacht Club logo on it. My family has a long history with that club. My Grandfather was one of the founding members, and my parents were members there for many years. It's very special to me. Lots of fun, parties, BBQ's, rescue missions, fish, and ice cream. Right along with a few "lost at sea" stories. I still consider all the people I knew there to be family.
Of course I did a "drive around" that day...it was unfortunately WAY too hot to do a "walk around", lol, but, it was still nice to spend that time with my memories. Even though the marina has changed enough to be virtually unrecognizable, it still feels like the same place. I'm still connected. 💗
